Harlequin Ladies Rugby Club

everything rugby

Harlequin Ladies Football Club was established in September 1995 when a couple of Quins fans moved into the area and wanted to set up a Ladies team.  Since then Harlequin Ladies have gone from strength to strength, establishing a highly successful youth side; forming strong links with the main club and the local community; and developing an enviable social calendar!

In the 2007/08 season the RFUW restructured the leagues to reflect the structure of the mens game.  Harlequin Ladies will play in the Championship 2: South East league.  The team intend to build on the fantastic end to last season which saw the Ladies last three league matches rack up a total of 173-0.

Harlequin Ladies Youth Academy was relaunched in September 2006.  In its first year as part of a cluster squad with girls from Grasshoppers RFC and Northolt RFC, the Youth Academy finished second in the Thames Valley Cluster League, and a number of players were selected for representative honours at county and regional level.   The Youth Academy welcomes all girls aged 12-18.  Training is held on Wednesday evenings 6pm-7:15pm at Old Isleworthians Rugby Club, Isleworth.

The Ladies squad train every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30pm until 9pm at the Richardson Evans Playing Fields, Roehampton Vale.  All abilities welcome!
